Our experience was great!

Inside, the home is modern, clean, and efficiently designed, featuring high-quality finishes and all the essential amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Every detail feels intentional, making the space both inviting and practical for short getaways or extended stays.
What truly sets this property apart is its connection to the outdoors. Guests can enjoy multiple outdoor seating areas, each providing a unique vantage point to relax, unwind, and take in the surrounding wooded landscape. Whether it’s morning coffee or an evening under the stars, the setting creates a peaceful, immersive experience.
A standout feature is the optional golf cart, which adds a layer of convenience and fun. It’s an excellent way to explore the nearby area, especially for accessing the beauty of Barkley Lake and its surroundings without the hassle of driving. We had an absolutely amazing stay! From the moment we walked through the door, we felt welcomed and at home. The thoughtful welcome basket full of a variety of snacks on the kitchen island was such a wonderful surprise and set the tone for our entire stay.
The home was spotless, beautifully decorated with soft touches of green throughout the home that made it feel warm, cozy and inviting, and it smelled clean and fresh. There were plenty of comfortable seating options, extra blankets thoughtfully placed in a basket and on the back of the comfortable soft couch. Each detail seemed to be carefully chosen with the guests comfort in mind.
The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped with everything you need if you wanted to stay in and cook. From the full sized stove and refrigerator and microwave, to the coffee station that helped us to get up and go for a full day on the beautiful lake.
The living area was cozy and inviting featuring a smart television and a quant entertainment center that had a electric fireplace built into it that created a romantic ambiance for relaxing, and watching a movie after a full day of fun activities.
The bathroom was beautifully decorated with a walk-in shower that felt like a spa experience that was heavenly. Another thoughtful touch was the washer and dryer with some laundry pods for the guest to use that was greatly appreciated. The bedroom was peaceful peaceful and the bed was soft and welcoming, and had a nice closet and storage baskets, another television on the wall and a celling fan for added comfort. It was a perfect place to unwind and get a good night’s sleep.
Outside the property was just as magical and impressive with a wrap around deck and several different seating areas and a game of checkers to play with your guest. The lighting around the deck created a charming romantic feel no matter where you went and it even had a grilling area along with a fire pit for outdoor entertainment. 10/10 on stars and will highly recommend staying here to anyone who asks! We loved it here!

We had an amazing stay at TJ’s Lake Getaway! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind. The property was well-maintained, cozy, and felt like a home away from home. Communication with the host was excellent—friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We made wonderful memories here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend TJ’s Lake Getaway for anyone looking for a relaxing escape! Tracey and John are the best!!!!
